In Feb 2012, a shipment of new, up to date, medical textbooks arrived at COTC, Mtwara. The books were carefully selected as highly relevant to the COTC curriculum and will significantly increase access to learning resources for clinical officer students. The books were donated by UK publishers and sourced and shipped by the British Medical Journal charity group BMJ4Life. BMJ4Life has been a supporter of PaLM for 2 years. PaLM would like to thank all at BMJ4Life for their work on this project.
PaLM works between London, UK and Mtwara, Southern Tanzania on sexual and reproductive health and education. PaLM collaborates with partners in Mtwara to deliver closely targeted tailor made interventions that bring dynamic local groups and initiatives together with North based organisational and technical resources and senior professionals.
